First Dates viewers left heartbroken after man bursts into tears remembering how his ex-girlfriend took her anger out on him
Fans said they were in tears as Stuart opened up about a previous relationship which he said was ‘turbulent’
FIRST Dates fans said they felt heartbroken after watching one of the show’s stars burst into tears when talking about a bad, previous relationship.
Stuart started to cry when he talked about one of his past girlfriends who he said took her “anger out” on him.

At the start of the episode, Stuart was introduced to bubbly Ginny as his date and the pair hit it off immediately.
Over drinks they started talking about their relationship history.
The cameras then played a pre-recorded interview with Stuart where he opened up about his past.
He was also open with Ginny and told her:” In my life I’ve had lots of happy relationships and a really turbulent relationship.

“There was a lot of anger and unhappiness and it got to the point where I had to watch every word I said.
“I had nights that were good nights and they would actually end horribly.”
In a private room he cried in front of the cameras when recalling what their relationship was like.
Stuart explained: “It sounds like such a small thing but it happens all the time because you say the wrong thing or…I erm, I stayed and it’s very hard to make sense of why I stayed.

“As soon as I spotted the situation where I thought she might get angry I had to leave.
“I lost my self-confidence, I am normally a very confident person but I just lost it.
“It’s difficult to understand why someone is acting as they are and you soon start to accept it’s your fault. And to some extent you think, well I chose this person. You do…”
Ginny was completely supportive and fans at home admitted they wanted to cry after seeing how pained Stuart was.

Ginny admitted she’d had a tough past relationship and revealed she’d been cheated on by her husband.
She said: “He basically started seeing someone from his work. As far as I’m aware he’s still with her.”
When asked how she managed to come through it, she joked: “Plenty of wine, therapy and yoga!”
