Taylor Swift’s fans are furious after Greg James tells her to ‘take a shower’
Singer belted out some of her biggest hits at the BBC’s Big Weekend in sweltering temperatures
TAYLOR Swift’s fans were seething after Greg James told her to “take a shower” when she came off stage at the BBC’s Big Weekend.
She had performed a number of songs from her album Reputation in 80 per cent humidity before stopping off to have a chat with the DJ backstage.

Taylor was in great spirits when she was talking to Greg, 32, and took no offence when he ended the chat by telling her: “I think you need to have a shower now”.
Laughing, the 28-year-old superstar replied: “I agree, I'm not offended, there's a lot going on and almost none of it's good!”
Despite this, Taylor’s fans rounded on Greg and accused him of being disrespectful towards her.
One tweeted: “Really Greg James? The 1st interview Taylor has done in more than 2 years and you tell her she needs a shower? Really, where did your manners go?”

Another commented: “@gregjames telling @taylorswift13 she needs a shower is why I'll never date another English man!”
While a third chided: “No offence but your interview with Taylor was pretty terrible and it seemed like you were completely unprepared. She hardly gives interviews nowadays and you blew it plus I'm sure she was offended. Maybe you meant well but it came out completely wrong.”
Some saw the funny side of Greg’s quip however and thanked him for making “TV gold”.

Taylor wowed fans on the day with her energetic performance, despite the heat.
