James Arthur says he isn’t surprised his ex Rita Ora is bisexual – because everyone is
The 2012 X Factor winner told Bizarre in an exclusive interview he 'kinda assumed everyone is bisexual these days...it's not something unusual in 2018'

FROM Cara Delevingne to Charli XCX, a host of stars have jumped to the defence of Rita Ora after she was criticised over her new single’s “damaging” presentation of bisexuality.
And now the pop star has another unlikely supporter — her ex-boyfriend James Arthur.
The singer has praised Rita for opening up about her sexuality on Girls, and revealed he is not shocked by the news she is bisexual.
In an exclusive interview, James, who dated Rita after winning The X Factor in 2012, said: “I did see that there was quite a bit of backlash for the song.
“I respect people shedding light and standing up for the LGBT community — that’s a great thing.
“If that’s what it is, you know, and not an attempt for publicity, then fair play. I kind of assumed everyone is bisexual these days. I think most girls I know fancy other girls, it’s not something unusual in 2018.
“So Rita saying I kissed a girl doesn’t make me step back in amazement. It doesn’t shock. Each to their own, that’s great.”
Droves of celebrities have felt comfortable enough to open up about their sexuality in recent years, with even Olly Murs describing himself as “20 per cent gay”.
James also spoke about his own sexual preferences.
He said: “What percentage do I have to be to appreciate a good-looking man? I definitely think a lot of guys are handsome. I don’t feel the urge to act upon it but I can appreciate a handsome man for sure.”
Six months after his hit track Naked stormed the charts, James is back again with two new catchy tunes tomorrow.
The comeback kid is releasing You Deserve Better and At My Weakest, and says he made a conscious effort not to reflect on his past in the songs.
He explained: “My last album was like the redemption album, it was quite a self-indulgent record because that’s what made sense in my life, talking about my adversities.
“But I made a conscious effort with this project to bring upbeat, positive records.
“I want to kind of leave all the negative stuff behind.”
That’s probably for the best.

Gaga is fantastic in plastic
IF this is what Lady Gaga wears for a trip to the recording studio, I can’t wait to see the costumes the next time she’s on stage.
She was in this strapless PVC dress as she left the Electric Lady Studio in New York with her fiance Christian Carino on Tuesday.
The singer has spent the past week recording there. She is due to begin a Las Vegas residency at the end of the year. I’ll be expecting to see her in more than just a pair of jeans.

Ariana Grande still struggles to discuss the Manchester attacks one year on. She said: “I thought with time, and therapy, and writing, and pouring my heart out . . . it would be easier to talk about, but it’s still so hard to find the words.”
Nick wins Grand Priy

NICK Jonas has another older woman on his arm – Meghan Markle's best pal Priyanka Chopra, ten years his senior.
Having dated Kate Hudson and Delta Goodrem, US sources claim the couple, who only recently hooked up, spent the past weekend together.
The Quantico actress joined Nick for a live Beauty And The Beast show in Hollywood on Friday before he took her to a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game the following day.
Later in the weekend the couple, left, joined some of Nick’s friends for a boat trip, with the pair pictured snuggling up together in an Instagram snap.
He’s really let the cougar out of the bag now.

Anitta who plays the Royal Albert Hall on June 28, with tickets available through Live Nation, was in the studio with the super producer last week. She said: “He is incredible. He told me he loves my work and thought I was amazing.

If Pharrell’s a fan, she must be good.

Cam cryin' out for the clubs
THERE is a party on stage every night during Taylor Swift's Reputation Tour.
But Camila Cabello, who is supporting her on the global jaunt, says she’s been left disappointed by the nightlife after the gigs.
Asked if they have been hitting the town, the Crying In The Club singer said: “Not yet because we are just getting started and everybody’s running around.
“But as soon as things get more relaxed there has to be at least one summer party, otherwise it’s not what I signed up for.”
But the quiet nights haven’t ruined everything. Camila said the two singers are closer friends than ever after spending the past few weeks together.
She added: “No matter what, I think we are always going to have each other’s backs and be great friends. It’s really fun.
“I was a huge Taylor Swift fan before I even met her, so getting to go to a Taylor Swift concert is so much fun.”
Hopefully she will be just as excited by the time her support slot ends in October.
