Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio ooze 60s cool in first pic from Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon A Time In Hollywood
The film is the first in which the two A-listers have starred together and is based on the infamous Tate murders

THIS is the first snap of Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio from Quentin Tarantino's upcoming film Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
Gangs Of New York star Leo, 43, plays washed-up western star Rick Dalton in the eagerly anticipated flick opposite Brad, 54, who portrays his longtime stunt double, Cliff Booth.
In the first-look picture, Leo looks like a 1960s cool dude, wearing cowboy boots, brown trousers, a mustard turtle neck and leather jacket, while Brad resembles vintage Robert Redford/Steve McQueen sporting an all-denim look with a black T-shirt and shades.
Leo was the first actor to commit to the film, which will also feature Margot Robbie as tragic Manson Family murder victim Sharon Tate, Timothy Olyphant, Luke Perry, Burt Reynolds, Al Pacino, and Tarantino regulars Tim Roth and Michael Madsen.
Dakota Fanning is part of the cast too, with the actress signing on to portray Lynette 'Squeaky' Fromme, the Manson Family devotee who tried to assassinate U.S. President Gerald Ford in 1975.
Brit Damian Lewis has been cast as movie icon Steve McQueen, and Emile Hirsch is playing the role of Jay Sebring, the hairstylist who was another victim of what became known as the Tate murders.

Tarantino has described the film as "a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood."
In the movie, Leo's character lives next door to Tate, who was slaughtered by cult leader Charles Manson's followers while pregnant with filmmaker Roman Polanski's child in 1969.
Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is set for release in August, 2019.
