Meryl Streep reprises her role as Donna in Mamma Mia1: Here We Go Again

The last song on the list is Abba's wistful 1982 hit The Day Before You Came

The lyrics are about going through the motions of life before everything changes - and many believe it is about a woman dying.

Fans rushed to Twitter to moan that Donna, played by Meryl Streep, could be a goner.

One said: "What if the day before you came is about death?"

Some fans have been put out of their misery after seeing the film at the premiere of Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again in last week.

Actresses Lily James and Amanda Seyfried, who plays Sophie, glammed up for the night and met on the star-studded blue carpet - but they never crossed paths in Mamma Mia 2.

That's because Lily plays Sophie's mother Donna in a series of flashbacks.

Sophie returns to her childhood home pregnant and single and with the help of her mum's childhood friends, she is told the story of how her own mum prepared for a life with a daughter.

The movie also follows the tricky situation between Donna (played by Meryl Streep) and any one of three men that can be Sophie's father. And just when Sophie thinks things can't get any more complicated, her Nan (played by Cher) also makes an unexpected appearance on the island.

Meanwhile, Pierce Brosnan was on This Morning and Phillip Schofield accused him of dropping a spoiler for the movie.

Speaking about the movie's plot on Phil and Holly's sofa, Pierce explained: "It's how Meryl [Streep] met Sam, Harry and it's delightful – there's much more meat on the bone on this one.

"I think it's as good as, if not better than, the last one. We all felt that, and the first one was so brilliant and such an unexpected surprise for everyone. Just went through the roof."

And Phil to declared: "I don't think you realise, Pierce, that you've just done a little bit of a spoiler..."
