Jake Quickenden is dating a single mum from Essex just days after split from Love Island’s Darylle Sargeant
JAKE Quickenden has already moved on from his romance with Love Island reject Darylle Sargeant by dating a single mum from Essex.
The reality hunk, 29, has spent the last week getting close to Sophie Church who has a four-year-old son from a previous relationship.
His new fling comes just hours after The Sun revealed Jake had split from Darylle – as sources say she wanted too much too soon from their romance.
A source close to Jake said: “It wasn’t working with Darylle – she wanted to make their relationship official and Jake just wasn’t ready for at the moment.
“He hasn’t long been single following the end of his engagement with Danielle and right now is enjoying being back on the dating scene.
“Sophie has definitely caught his eye; they’ve been spending quality time together and Jake loves the fact she isn't in the celebrity world."
The Sun was first to reveal Jake’s romance with Darylle last month – with the Dancing on Ice champ even introducing her to his family at an event held in honour of his late brother.
Shortly afterwards the pair were spotted passionately kissing on a date night in Leeds but Darylle appeared alone on the red carpet last week at a film premiere.
Jake has been playing the field since breaking off his engagement to Danielle Fogarty after a three-year romance.
Their relationship fell apart after Jake won Dancing on Ice and prioritised partying with Kem Cetinay over spending time with Danielle.

A source told The Sun at the time: “Winning Dancing On Ice has meant Jake’s had other priorities.
“He’s been touring the country with Kem on the show’s tour and getting a lot of female attention, which hasn’t been easy for Danielle."
Jake and Danielle were introduced when the reality star appeared on I'm A Celeb with her dad, super bike star Carl Fogarty.
