BEN Jardine's brother Samuel has reveals the Celebrity Big Brother star never loved his wife Stephanie.
Samuel has defended his brother and insisted he "really struggled" during his marriage.
Ben, 36, tied the knot with the police woman on Channel 4 reality show Married At First Sight last year.
However, the relationship broke down after he cheated on her, and he's now having a baby with another woman.
Ben's brother has now spoken out in his defence and insisted no one saw what Ben went through.
He told : "I don’t think Ben has done anything wrong...
"I saw him really struggle with what to do when he was thinking about their future.
"He tore himself apart over it because he didn’t want to hurt her, but at the same time he just didn’t love her.
"It’s a shame the way things ended but you can’t make yourself love someone."
Ben and Steph were the only Married At First Sight wedding to survive the show last year, but weeks after the cameras stopped rolling, Ben shocked fans with the news that they’d split.
Just one day later, a 20-year-old named Lucy accused him of cheating on Steph with her, but Ben insisted he only kissed another girl when the couple knew their marriage was over.
Ben, 36, is currently divorcing Steph, and is now expecting a baby with another woman, eight months after their split.
