Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law made Back To Hogwarts day special for fans at London’s King’s Cross station

The annual event sees thousands of Harry Potter fans descend into the London station to see off the 11am Hogwarts Express — as seen in the films

MOVIE stars Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law made Back To Hogwarts day extra wand-erful for wizarding fans with a surprise appearance at London’s King’s Cross train station.

Eddie, 36, who plays Newt Scamander and Jude, 45, who is Albus Dumbledore in the Fantastic Beasts fantasy flick series, popped up at platform nine and three quarters to see off the 11am departure of the Hogwarts Express.

They were joined by DJ Edith Bowman, 44.

The annual gathering allows the chance to go “through” a brick wall to reach the train and this year the popular actors dressed up as station staff.

Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes Of Grindelwald is due for release on November 16.
