CELEBRITY Big Brother might only have hours left of the current season – but it has proved enough time for a final explosive argument before the 2018 winner is crowned.

In scenes aired on Saturday night – but filmed on Friday – a race row erupted in the house as 49-year-old Hardeep Singh Kohli (now evicted) accused Sally Morgan, 66, of ‘borderline racism’.

The pair clashed as Kirstie Alley, 67, tried to organise a “movie” inside the house – casting Sally as a doctor and Hardeep as a patient.

When Sally suggested coating Hardeep’s face with talcum powder to make him “look ill”, saying he was “looking so brown” and "too well”, the Scottish comedian took huge offence.

"You know what, honey? I'm a brown man," Hardeep argued back.

"So let's just be clear about that. Do you know what? This is ridiculous," he continued, before storming from the room and refusing to participate in the 'movie'.

Hardeep felt he was under attack after Sally had previously asked if she could use his turban as a bandage - asking "what" it was called.

A blazing argument quickly developed, with Sally hysterically denying she was racist, and bursting into tears.

The psychic said Hardeep was accusing her of something she was not, and that she "didn't have a racist bone in her body".

The other housemates sided with Sally - but viewers watching the show were much more divided.

“Racism is when you intend to be nasty! Hardeep is such a d***! “ one viewer tweeted.

Another agreed with the housemates, who had criticised Hardeep for quickly leaving a room after igniting an argument: “Ah jhee I’m so glad Hardeep has gone now... he walks away from every situation he’s made! Making an issue out of nothing is ridiculous.”

“Oh come on, sally is NOT racist!” wrote another.

And a further fan saw disbelief over Hardeep taking offence to being asked about his turban.

“Sally asking what a turban is...HOW IS THAT RACIST,” one viewer tweeted.

Otherssaw the argument from Hardeep’s side – with many pointing out Sally had used questionable words.

“Woah, Sally actually said "You're too brown" she's not mentioning that, just the talc comment as she knows she was out of line. It was a "borderline racist" comment at best. Wonder if that would have changed the vote last night. She's a hypocrite who rewrites history ,” one livid fan tweeted.

“Did sally just say “why do you look so brown” to Hardeep or is my drunken ears playing tricks on me?” asked another.

While a further fan condemned the psychic, tweeting: “That was a racist comment from Sally I don't care what anyone says.”

As the episode continued, Hardeep hinted he had suffered from racism in the past – and had been mocked over his turban since being a child.

“I grew up being called ‘bandage head’ from the age of 12,” he said.

Arguing Sally should have known better, he asked: “Do you not think it was insensitive of her to say that?”

However, after discussing things with Big Brother in the Diary Room, and then Kirstie in the bedroom, Hardeep apologised to Sally before admitting to Dan Osborne he could have handled things in a different way.

The Celebrity Big Brother live final is on Five on Monday at 9pm.
