LIAM Payne has sparked One Direction reunion rumours after he was spotted carrying band artwork out of his office in London and having dinner with one of the band's main songwriters.
The singer, who recently announced his split from Cheryl and is now seeing Cairo Dwek, is giving 1D fans one last glimmer of hope that the boy band might indeed reunite, almost three years after they went on a hiatus.
The 25-year-old was seen leaving his office and carrying band artwork of the original members of the musical group.
The sentimental canvas even included Zayn Malik, who left back in March 2015.
Further fuelling reunion rumours, the dad-of-one was also spotted having dinner with songwriter Savan Kotecha, who was one of the masterminds behind One Direction.
The music professional was the main songwriter in the some of band's biggest hits, including "What makes you beautiful" and "Take me home".
The reunion hype has got even bigger after Liam shared a special throwback post on his Instagram page.
Alongside an old snap of the five boys looking very young, he wrote "1000 days" - marking the time since they have decided to go their separate ways.
Despite Liam's hints, there's no official word about a One Direction reunion as the lads continue to pursue successful solo careers.
While Harry has recently finished a world tour, following the launch of his first album, Zayn and Liam have been enjoying the success of songs like "Dusk till Dawn" and "Familiar".
Louis Tomlinson is currently keeping busy as he starts his first stint as an X Factor judge, and Niall Horan also launched his solo album "Flicker".
But while the boys have remained tight-lipped when it comes to what the future holds for them, Simon Cowell thinks a reunion is definitely on the cards.
Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Cowell said last month: “I just think the legacy is too big not to go back to at one point. Plus they have enough songs.
“I didn't realise how many hits they've had, when they do get back together it will be a huge event.

“But look, they're all doing their own thing and they're all being successful. But I have a feeling it will happen. I really do. I'd love it to happen."
Liam's 1D hint comes after his 18-month-old son was pictured for the first time with mum Cheryl.
The singer was snapped taking her young son to the home of former Girls Aloud bandmate Kimberley Walsh for a birthday party.
