KILLING Eve season two continues on BBC One TONIGHT (Saturday, July, 2019), just months after winning multiple gongs at this year's Bafta TV Awards.

With the new series officially underway, here is everything you need to know about the cast of series two...

Who is in the Killing Eve season two cast?

David Haig and Susan Lynch will not be returning to the second series of Killing Eve after their characters were killed off in season one.

Haig played Eve's co-worker Bill Pargrave who is stabbed to death by Villanelle in a nightclub.

Lynch was Anna, Villanelle's former lover who kills herself.

Villanelle also saw off former lover Nadia (Olivia Ross), in a brutal running over, and Diego, played by Edward Akrout.

So here we run down who's actually still alive and made it into season two.

Sandra Oh

Sandra, 47, was born July 20, 1971, and is a Canadian actress.

She is best known for her role as Dr Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy.

Her role on the medical drama won her a Golden Globe Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards and five Emmy nominations.

The Korean star is back playing the leading role of Eve.

Jodie Comer

Jodie, 26, was born March 11, 1993, and is an English actress from Liverpool.

She is best known for her roles as Chloe Gemell on the comedy-drama series My Mad Fat Diary and Ivy Moxam in the BBC Three's Thirteen.

She also played Kate Parks in the acclaimed drama series Doctor Foster.

Jodie returns as Villanelle, a fearsome assassin living a luxurious life thanks to her violent job.

Fiona Shaw

Fiona, 59, was born July 10, 1958, and is an Irish actress and theatre and opera director.

She is best known for playing Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter films and her role as Marnie Stonebrook in season four of True Blood.

Fiona has also starred in many other films including My Left Foot, Three Men and a Little Lady and Super Mario Bros.

Now, the star is portraying Carolyn Martens in Killing Eve.

Kim Bodnia

Kim Bodnia is a Danish actor best known for playing detective Martin Rohde in The Bridge.

Kim, who was born on April 12, 1965, is also a writer and director.

He was shot dead by Villanelle after she took his daughter hostage in the final episode of series one.

He is listed on IMdB as being in series two, so is this flashbacks or has he risen from the dead?

Owen McDonnell 

Owen, 45, is an Irish actor who has starred in Mount Pleasant, My Mother and Other Strangers and Women on the Verge.

He returns as Eve's husband Niko Polastri.

Sean Delaney

Sean bagged his first major TV acting role when he landed the part of Kenny Stowton in Killing Eve.

He returns for season two as the computer whiz.

Sean was previously on our screens in Midsomer Murders playing Sean Nevins in 2016.

Nina Sosanya

Love Actually actress Nina was born on June 6, 1969, and has also starred in Last Tango in Halifax, Shetland and Marcella.

She played Annie in Love Actually, and worked for PM David, played by Hugh Grant.

Nina joins the cast of Killing Eve in season two as Jess, an experienced intelligence officer.

Edward Bluemel

Edward is a 25-year-old actor best known for The Commuter and The Halcyon.

He also played Marcus Whitmore in Sky One's adaptation of A Discovery of Witches.

He joins Killing Eve as Hugo, a youngster full of self-entitlement, but totally irresistible, who is new in the Counter-Terrorism department of the MI6.

When is Killing Eve on BBC One?

Series two of Killing Eve started airing in the US on April 7, 2019.

UK fans received the second series after it premiered on BBC One on June 8, 2019, at 9.15 pm.

For the first series, Brits were left hanging for six months after BBC America had aired the show.

The first series of Killing Eve launched on BBC One at 9.15pm on Saturday, September 15.

The entire first series is currently still available to watch on iPlayer.
