The Sun Online can reveal Roxanne has wrote a ‘heartfelt and unreservedly apologetic’ letter to Ryan following her claims he ‘repeatedly punched her’
RYAN Thomas has finally received an apology letter from Roxanne Pallett, The Sun Online can confirm.
The 34-year-old received the handwritten note from the former Emmerdale actress, four weeks after she falsely accused Ryan of “repeatedly punching her” in the Celebrity Big Brother house.
After she left the house, friends close to Roxanne said she was putting together a letter to Ryan to speak about her behaviour in the house.
Now she’s finally put pen to paper and sent a lengthy note to Ryan, who said he felt as though his life had been ruined after she made the allegations against him.
A Celebrity Big Brother insider told The Sun Online: “Ryan has finally received his letter from Roxanne.
“It was very heartfelt and unreservedly apologetic. He wants to put it to bed now and move on.”
After she left the Celebrity Big Brother house, Roxanne broke down in tears after she spoke about her actions.
In an interview with CBB host Emma Willis, Roxanne, 35, said she felt like “the most hated woman in Britain” and apologised for causing Ryan distress.
She added: “I needed to come and tell everyone that I got it wrong.
“I'm human. I made a massive, massive, horrible mistake.”
Roxanne has now stepped out of the public eye and is staying at her home in the North with her fiancé Lee Walton.
Meanwhile Ryan – who went on to be crowned the winner of the hit Channel 5 series – said he was keen to move on with his life.
He said earlier this month: “I don’t really want to be a part of it, I don’t want to fuel it.
“I know that Roxanne will be having a lot of backlash for this.
“It’s not something I want to do.”
Ryan’s representative said they had “no comment” regarding Roxanne’s letter.
