Nick Grimshaw has found a boyfriend after years of dating struggle after moving from the early shift to Drivetime on Radio 1

QUITTING the Radio 1 Breakfast Show has done wonders for Nick Grimshaw – especially in the bedroom.
I can reveal the DJ has found a boyfriend after years struggling with dating because of his early routine. Nick, who last month moved to Radio 1’s Drivetime slot, is now in a relationship with dancer Meshach Henry, 12 years his junior, and last weekend whisked him away to Oxfordshire to celebrate his 22nd birthday.
The pair met earlier this year and have had a string of dates in the past few months.
A source close to Grimmy said: “Nick has found dating quite tough in recent years because of his job.
“But he met Meshach — who’s called Mesh by his pals — a few months ago and although it’s still early days they are really enjoying their time together. They are taking things easy and not putting any pressure on anything.
“Nick really likes him, and his friends are thrilled he has found someone who makes him happy.”
As he enjoyed his birthday getaway, Mesh posted a bathtub shot, pictured, on Instagram — believed to have been taken by Nick. Mesh made the final of the BBC Young Dancer 2015 contest and is now a star at Rambert — one of the world’s leading independent dance companies.
When Nick left the breakfast show in August, he said he hoped the move would help him meet a man. He explained: “I have committed to this show, especially the last year, and I have put my head down.
“But now I can go for dates with people and the new show will help. I have been trying to date people, but you don’t want to day date.”
An early night will now be the last thing on his mind.

Marcus Barnett, who has won three golds at the RHS event, will install a pergola, natural swimming pool, fruit orchard and large mound to block wind.
The couple bought their Oxfordshire barn conversion for just over £6.15million in December 2016.
They will also plant 23 types of trees and let these, the bushes and plants run free rather than have a perfectly manicured garden.
Seems VB does have a wild side after all.
Ariana makes a pig decision
ARIANA Grande has some creature comfort to help her get over her split from fiancé Pete Davidson – because she’s keeping the couple’s pet piglet.
The US pair adopted the little fella, dubbed Piggy Smallz, last month and comedian Pete later got a tattoo of him.
Smallz lived with them in their £12million New York apartment and Ariana has insisted on him staying with her following the split at the weekend.
But she is not keeping the £70,000 engagement ring Pete gave her in June. She has given him back the band, which has a three-carat diamond.
Ariana is throwing herself into work and will sing The Wizard And I, from hit musical Wicked, in a US telly special later this month marking the show’s 15th anniversary.
After all she’s faced in the past 18 months, I hope she takes some time off, too.
Gaga's suity call
LADY Gaga looks like she’s going for a role in some sort of Honey, I Shrunk The Kids reboot after her recent success in A Star Is Born.
The singer wore this ridiculously oversized tan suit to Elle’s 25th Women in Hollywood Celebration. Jennifer Lopez, pictured, also attended the Monday night bash at the Four Seasons Hotel in Los Angeles.
But while there was no chance of any embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions in Gaga’s outfit, she did let something slip – the fact she has got engaged.
Gaga, who split from her ex-fiancé, actor Taylor Kinney, in 2016 after five years together, confirmed she is now engaged to talent agent Christian Carino following more than a year and a half together.
In her speech at the event, she referred to him as “my fiancé Christian” after months of rumours he had proposed.

Jonas' secret X Factor bid
LOUIS Tomlinson nearly missed out on his X Factor judging role to Jonas Blue.
DJ and producer Jonas revealed he had secret meetings with Simon Cowell about being on the panel but couldn’t make it work due to his packed schedule.
He said: “I was asked to audition for the role of a judge. I met Simon and was interviewed. I went through the whole process but it didn’t work out because I had too many prior commitments with my DJing.
“All of my DJ shows had been booked about a year in advance and I had to be there for filming days and I couldn’t make it work. It would have been fun.”
Instead, the judging role went to Louis.
Jonas will release his debut album Blue on November 9, which includes his new single Polaroid featuring Louis’ former One Direction bandmate Liam Payne.
After revealing he was Simon’s first choice, there’s probably not much chance of him getting Louis on a tune now.
