Olly Murs wants to find love on The Voice – even if it gets him fired

OLLY Murs, 34, is hoping to find the one during his stint as a judge on ITV's The Voice, but his quest for love could come at a very high price as he worries he could get sacked if he dates one of the contestants.
The singer has been single for three years, since splitting from girlfriend Francesca Thomas in 2015, and now he seems ready for the find the one as he admits his love life is the hot topic among the other judges - Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson.
He told : "We talk about my love life a lot. It’s become a bit of a running joke. Spinning these chairs could be the only way I ever could find love.
"It's like speed dating. I only get to hear their voice so it would be love at first sight."
However, the Heart Skips a Beat hit maker admitted that a work romance could land him in big trouble.
"I don’t think I’m allowed to date contestants though. I think I would be sacked. But you never know. Crazier things have happened.
"It would be amazing if I did find love on The Voice," he added.
But while he's looking for the special lady missing in his life, Ollie is still having fun living the single life - having recently been linked to Melanie Sykes and Louisa Johnson.
He confessed to Fabulous magazine: "I've been dating, seeing people. I'm having fun with the wrong girls until I find the right one. And that will come when I least expect it.
"I'm hoping with the next person I meet it's instant and moves in the right direction and it feels amazing. That's what I'd love. Whoever I meet it's gonna be a moment of us both looking for that.
"I might not meet her until I'm 50! I'm not gonna chase it - it'll happen when it happens."
The Essex-born singer has been single since 2015, when he broke up with his long-term girlfriend Francesca - which he still regrets.
Speaking about the end of the romance, he said that at the time he was putting himself and his career first, which meant he didn't prioritise his relationship.
He told Fabulous: "I was a young pop star, and what came with that was a lifestyle of me putting myself first. I don't feel like I treated my ex-girlfriend badly - I treated her well, actually. It was a good relationship, but my priorities were different to what they would be if I was with someone now.

"I think if I could go back, I would have put her first more. When I got with her, Troublemaker [Olly's 2012 platinum-selling No.1 single] had just come out, which was like a f**king sky rocket, and it was selfish of me, but that was the way it was. I was on this f**king rocket and you only get one chance at this so you have to go there.
"Now I'm at a nice point where I can really appreciate everything around me. I'm really cool. I'm in a really good, happy place and I'm a better person. I've learned from some of the mistakes I might have made, some of the arguments we had, some of the things that I was like as a person. I'm feeling fitter. I'm stronger. I'm better."
