David Beckham is splitting from business partner Simon Fuller after 23 years
The footballer is said to want to manage his own company

DAVID Beckham, 43, is splitting from business partner Simon Fuller, 58, after 23 years together to manage his own company.
The footballer is said to want to take full control of DB Ventures, the most profitable company within the Beckham brand.
The reason behind the split seems to be the fact David wants to take himself more seriously as a businessman, now he's no longer playing football, according to the .
The two have been partners for over two decades, and with Beckham's business recording a whopping £24.9 million profit after tax, David will have to carefully negotiate how to buy Simon out of his empire.
The success of his brand relies on enterprises like his men’s fashion range Kent & Curwen, and his role as global ambassador for prestigious brands - such as pan-Asian life insurance group, AIA in Hong Kong.
A source close to Fuller told the publication: "David wants to go forward without Simon. Now he’s no longer playing football he sees himself as a businessman and wants to free himself from all of this.
"There is a lot of wrangling over money. Brand Beckham has been going for 23 years and it isn’t an easy one to untangle."
As well as being his business partner, Fuller was also Beckham's manager until earlier this year.
He was and still remains Victoria's manager, and a shareholder in her successful fashion business.
The news comes just months after the Beckhams denied that Fuller would no longer be a part of David's business, a rumour that fuelled even more speculation that David and Victoria were heading for a split themselves.

A source told Mail On Sunday in June: "Fuller isn’t David’s manager anymore and is no longer involved in the day-to-day running of him or his business.”
However, the Beckhams' representative has insisted that there is "no change" to David's business, adding: "Simon Fuller is and remains David Beckham’s longterm business partner."
Responding to the claims that the couple were about to split, the rep added: "There is no statement due, no divorce, and a lot of Chinese whispers and fake social media news.
“This is all very bizarre and an embarrassing waste of time.”
