Claudia Winkleman reveals she and Tess Daly have secret pact they’ll quit Strictly together

STRICTLY'S Claudia Winkleman has revealed that she and co-host Tess Daly have a secret pact that they'll quit the popular dance series together.
The much-loved host, 46, has been with the BBC ballroom dance contest since 2004 when she first fronted spin-off show, It Takes Two.
The BBC darling then joined co-host Tess, 49, on the Sunday night results show in 2012 before taking over hosting duties on the main spectacle from the late Sir Bruce Forsyth in 2014.
And now Claudia revealed that she and her co-host Tess have such a close bond that they would quit the show together should one want to eventually bid farewell to the sequin and sparkle of the ballroom.
She told The Sun's TV Mag: "When one of us is done, we go together. So she's not allowed to leave."
As another series come to an end, Claudia admitted it's too close to call who will take home the glitterball tonight but did say that she knows for sure their after-party is already one to remember.
She said: "...we'll also have our end-of-series party this weekend, which is always great fun. All the contestants come back and everyone is so happy to see them, and the winners are over the moon.
"We dance, eat nuts, laugh and then bundle home to get ready for Christmas. Though I usually wake up the next morning covered in glitter and holding a scoring paddle."
Her comments come after the cheeky presenter said one of her Strictly Come Dancing highlights is the tanning sessions she has with her co-stars in the buff.
The television presenter is regularly given a spray tan whilst working on the series in a bid to give her a healthy glow by the Strictly’s behind-the-scenes team.
Speaking on Chris Evans’ BBC Radio Two breakfast show, Claudia said: "First of all I had got quite a few tans booked, that is key. So I have got to orange up for the final.
"I paint myself orange – fluorescent orange. There is a girl called Sophia and she comes and has a pop-up tent.

Adding: "There are some people who are specific, they don’t want their hands to be streaky or they don’t want very orange soles of their feet. They want a whisper of a tan – I am not that person. I just get it on.
"We are really speedy. We are all sort of naked. We just jump in."
Claudia was then asked by broadcaster Chris, 52, who is joining Virgin Radio next year: "Do you fake tan with anyone else – is there room for more than one in there?", to which she replied: "Yeah, often."
