Gregg Wallace, 54, shows off new trim figure after losing three stone with diet and exercise and may quit booze too
The MasterChef judge still wants to lose another half a stone and has plans to release a diet cookbook

GREGG Wallace shows off his new abs of steel.
The MasterChef judge has reason to be proud after losing three-and-a-half stone on a health and fitness regime.
Yet the foodie still wants to lose another 7lb and is now considering cutting out booze.
Gregg said: “I go to the gym five days a week and I really enjoy it. I really feel gross if I don’t go.
“I get up at 4.30am to work out and I’m in bed at 8pm.
“I actually want to lose another half a stone, but my trainer thinks I’ll need to stop drinking less beer at the rugby. I’m thinking about it. It’d be worth it.”
Gregg, who plans to release a diet cookbook, added: “I will have a bowl of porridge with soy milk and honey for breakfast, a lunch and dinner of lean protein, of fish and vegetables.
"Less fried food — so boiled potatoes as opposed to roast potatoes. You can eat as much as you want of the right things.”
Fellow judge John Torode, who is marrying actress Lisa Faulkner later this year, says he does not feel under pressure to match trim Gregg.
John joked: “The only six-pack I’m going get is from the drive-through bottle shop.
“I wouldn’t be seen dead doing a dead lift.”
Eating goodies comes with the job for the pair, whose new series of MasterChef returns to BBC1 on Monday.
Gregg said: “The worst challenge now is afternoon tea, because we have to sample whatever they make and you’re looking at an average of three sandwiches and two cakes from one person.
“Multiply that by six contestants and it will give some idea of how tough an afternoon tea is.”
It’s a good job they’re not on The Great British Bake Off.
No date for Vic
VICKY Pattison has laid into E4’s Celebs Go Dating after it invited her to appear days after she split from her fiancé.
The former I’m A Celebrity winner, who split from businessman John Noble last November, admitted: “It was way too soon.
“I’m a huge fan of the show but it is contrived and very invasive. I’m not sure I am strong enough to handle that.”
But speaking at the launch of her Goddiva fashion collection, the Geordie added: “Never say never.
It depends how much they are willing to give me and how big the fee is.”
Ever the savvy reality TV star.
A step up for Neil
INVITING Strictly Come Dancing pros on to The Greatest Dancer was an obvious way to give the show a boost – but the choice of stars is a bit of a surprise.
Neil Jones usually plays second fiddle to wife Katya, who always gets to dance with the celebrities on the Saturday night favourite.
But he will step firmly into the limelight on next week’s The Greatest Dancer when around ten of Strictly’s best deliver a routine.
Neil will be seen dancing one-to-one with his missus.
It is another show of unity after Katya was seen kissing her dance partner, comic Seann Walsh, during last year’s series of Strictly.
Dancing’s a great way to move on.
