Jeremy, 58, and 49-year-old Richard are left unimpressed as they assess the van while James May takes over the driving, with the pair criticising the dated decor and patterned wallpaper.

Claiming that the vehicle looks like it was taken straight from the 1970s, Jeremy went on to add: "All of this doesn't trouble me half as much as that" as he points at the tiny toilet.

He continued: "We are here for a week.

"At no point will be more than 12 feet from where the turds are stored."

Pointing to 56-year-old James, Jeremy emphasised: "His turds!"

A chemical toilet holds the loo's contents in a tank and uses chemicals in a bid to try and minimise odour.

They need to be emptied frequently but are usually self-contained.

Faces of Clarkson, Hammond and May projected on Burj for The Grand Tour finale

The US special of The Grand Tour sees Jeremy, James, and Richard travel around America - and it doesn't take long for things to go wrong.

In the show, fans will see Richard reversing into another RV - with James testing out a glorified quad bike.

It is available to watch on Prime Video now.
