THEY say money can’t buy you happiness – and in the case of Kylie Jenner, the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, it rings true.
At just 21, the social media sensation is estimated to be worth three times as much as her better-known half-sister Kim Kardashian.

But take a peep through the plush, designer curtains in one of her many mansions and behind them is a life full of chaos and sadness.
The youngest child of pushy 63-year-old momager Kris Jenner, who takes a ten per cent cut of her kids’ earnings, Kylie was thrown into the spotlight aged ten, when reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians launched in 2007.
Unsurprisingly, Kylie calls herself an outcast due to her inability to relate to “normal” people.
In her solo TV show Life Of Kylie that aired two years ago, she revealed how wealth does not make her happy.

She said: “When I know I could buy any car, any house, that happiness lasts two seconds.
“That is not my real happiness. I’m so blessed that I’ve got to experience this at such a young age and learn that so now I can find what really is gonna make me happy.
“I didn’t choose this life, but I’m not totally innocent, because I am keeping up this lifestyle.
“I’m not that type of person where I want all the attention. It actually freaks me out.”

Speaking about her famous older sister, she says: “Kim always said this is what she’s made for, and I respect that, but it’s hard to do normal things when every single person knows who you are.”
She later admitted in the show: “I think I lost a lot of parts of myself.”
By the age of 14, Kylie was a businesswoman, collaborating with her supermodel sister Kendall, now 23, on clothing brand Kendall & Kylie.

One of the lip kits in the collection is called Jordy Velvet, named after her former housemate Jordyn Woods, who is now in the eye of the latest storm to batter Kylie’s life.
Woods was the girl Kylie called her “only friend” and she thought of as “a sister”.
The pair had been very close since the age of 15 and Woods barely left Kylie’s side in her reality show.
Jordyn said: “Kylie and I have been best friends since eighth grade summer going into high school.

“We have a special connection where we just get each other. Knowing you could tell them like, ‘Hey I just killed someone, I need you to come’. Not saying we’d ever do that.”
But this tight bond was shattered last month after Woods was caught kissing 27-year-old basketball player Tristan Thompson — the boyfriend of Jenner’s sister Khloe Kardashian and father of her child True.
Although the drama only unfolded weeks ago, Woods chose to speak publicly about the scandal on actress Jada Pinkett Smith’s confessional show Red Table Talk.
The model said she was surprised at how fellow members of the Kardashian inner circle treated her after learning that she kissed Tristan during a party at his house.

She said tearfully: “I get to see everyone’s true colours now. You have my phone number, you could have called or texted me a mean text, but I guess everything’s social now. That’s how people handle things.”
While Woods claims it was only a kiss and not the reason why Khloe and Tristan split, Khloe hit back in a furious tweet, calling her a liar and signing off: “You ARE the reason my family broke up!”
She then told fans that Tristan was “equally to blame” for the affair.
Kylie has remained silent, with those close to her claiming she is “confused and devastated.”

The only move she did seem to make was changing the price of the Jordy Velvet lip kit on her website — giving it a 50 per cent discount.
The 26-year-old rapper deleted his Instagram account after it was reported he had been sending flirty messages to women online.
Kylie has also stayed tight-lipped about this, but in an uncharacteristically revealing interview three years ago, she discussed the anxiety she feels seeing stories about herself.

She said: “I wake up every morning with the worst anxiety. I don’t know why.
“I have, like, a problem. My worst fear is waking up and finding something bad about me on the internet.”
She went to great lengths to keep her relationship and pregnancy with Travis a secret from the public and only announced it once baby Stormi was born.
Before that, Kylie was part of a complicated love affair with Tyga — another rapper.

She was blamed by Tyga’s former girlfriend and mother of his child, ex-stripper Blac Chyna, for causing the break-up of their relationship.
While Tyga, 29, was seeing her, Chyna started dating Kylie’s reclusive half-brother Rob Kardashian — and he very quickly got her pregnant.
They had a baby, Dream, but split up after Rob posted naked pictures of Blac Chyna on Instagram, accusing her of cheating.
After Kylie and Tyga split, he claimed they were still having sex while she was in a relationship with Travis Scott, and demanded a paternity test to see if the baby was his.

She agreed — and it proved Tyga is not Stormi’s dad.
The ups and downs of her life are just as dramatic as her fellow Keeping Up With The Kardashians stars.
The reality show, about to go into its 16th series, has seen Kylie’s older sis Kim married to basketball player Kris Humphries for 72 days, marry rapper Kanye West and go through the terrifying ordeal of being robbed at gunpoint in Paris.
Kylie’s father Bruce became Caitlyn — and before transitioning she was involved in a fatal car accident.

The crash killed 69-year-old driver Kim Howe and injured four others — but California prosecutors ruled there was not enough evidence to try Caitlyn for manslaughter.
And viewers of the show have noticed Kylie’s ever-changing looks — leaving many fans wondering what on earth she has done to herself.
The sweet little brunette who first appeared on screen in 2007 has changed beyond recognition.
Her 128million Instagram followers have seen her lips, boobs and bum grow and grow.

She has only ever admitted to pumping up her lips, revealing in her reality show that she had some cosmetic help.
She confessed: “I have really small lips. And it was, like, one of my first kisses and a guy was like, ‘I didn’t think you would be a good kisser because you have such small lips’.
“But I took that really hard. It just really affected me. I just didn’t feel desirable or pretty. I really wanted bigger lips. I ended up getting my lips done.”
A moment of weakness? Or par for the course for a young woman for whom nothing seems to work out exactly as planned — despite the bulging bank balance?

In a revealing moment in her reality show, she said: “I just feel like this fame thing is going to come to an end sooner than we think.
“I just want to run away. I just don’t know who I’m doing it for.”
