Footie pundit Chris Kamara is recording a swing album to release next Christmas
The 61-year-old Sky Sports football pundit has already been in the studio with a band to work on his musical debut

FOOTBALL pundit Kamara is recording a swing album to be released this Christmas.
The ex-Leeds United star, 61, is making a surprise bid to become a popstar and has already been in the studio with a big band to work on his first ever record.
Chris is hoping to follow in the footsteps of The Chase host Bradley Walsh, 58, whose album of swing covers became the biggest selling debut album by a British artist in 2016.
A source said: “Chris has always loved his singing but has never really had the chance to really try his hand at becoming a musician, until now.
“He’s seen other household names like Anton Du Beke and Nick Knowles successfully launch music careers alongside their day jobs and is now planning on doing the same.
“He can see the funny side given no one would expect him to be a swing singer but the record company couldn’t wait to get him on board. He’s even been working with a big band on the album and is hoping to release it as a festive special.”
It comes after The Sun revealed Chris, famed for his catchphrase “Unbelievable, Jeff”, will be joining Olly Murs on tour — and performing Snoop Dogg’s rap.
The Sky Sports pundit is stepping in to duet with The Voice coach during one of Olly’s gigs at the O2 arena in London this summer.
Chris previously showed off his vocal talents on the celebrity special of the BBC’s All Together Now, where he wowed Spice Girl Geri Horner with his rendition of Elton John’s Your Song.
He also released a charity single called Sing 4 England ahead of the Euro 2012 football tournament.
