Why did Megan McKenna and Mike Thalassitis break up?

After seven months together, the couple broke up for good in July 2018.

Opening up about why it was over, at the time Mike told The Sun Online: "She's not my Megs any more. As of last night, it's over.

"There's no going back. I gave her everything and it wasn't enough. I'm doing me now. I'm happy."

After being quizzed on a possible reconciliation, Mike added: "I don't know what the future holds, but I don't hold out much hope.

"There's only so much you can keep trying when it's not working.

"You've got to do what makes you happy."

The break-up then turned nasty.

A source told The Sun Online: "Megan has reported Mike to the police several times and has been told he is now facing arrest.

"She's told police that he has been stalking and harassing her. She also claims he has broken into her house several times."

Mike did not comment on the allegations.

When were Megan McKenna and Mike Thalassitis together?

The couple started growing close at the end of 2017 and became official in January 2018.

During the relationship, Megan told she had "completely fallen in love" with him.
She said: "He definitely isn’t muggy to me.

"I do want to marry him – we’d have such an amazing wedding! I want three children and I want them all to look like Mike – he’s got nice tanned skin and green eyes."

Meanwhile, Mike was also open about how much he cared for Megan.

After watching her perform in front of thousands of people at Hyde Park in 2018, he gushed about his girlfriend on social media while cheering her on in the crowd.

He posted on Twitter: "Proud" with a love heart and picture of Megan on stage.

Before calling their romance quits for good in July, the fiery couple first decided to break up just two months after going public with their relationship.

However, a week later they got back together, but were pictured having a blazing row in the street.
