FILMING for the hugely-anticipated James Bond 25 is finally underway in Norway - and the first pictures reveal a sinister masked villain stalking through the snow.
The unnerving masked man has a machine gun and appears to be chasing a young girl. He is wearing a Phantom Of The Opera-style mask.
The movie title is yet to be announced but it's working title is Shatterhand. It is believed to be Daniel Craig's last Bond film after 13 years in the role.
Full casting for the new movie has not yet been revealed, so it’s unclear who is playing the masked man and who is playing the girl.
What is known is that Cary Joji Fukunaga is directing, after taking over from Danny Boyle.
Ralph Fiennes, who plays the current iteration of M, recently said that even the cast have been kept in the dark about the storyline.
He told Newsnight: “I can’t tell you much. There’s as much security around a Bond production as there is in MI6.
“I don’t know the name of the film, I haven’t even had access to a screenplay yet."
Earlier this week, a source said Craig, 50, had been training for 12 hours a day to meet the physical demands of playing Bond.
"Being Bond requires a lot of energy and he is determined to make sure he is ready for it," the source told the . "It’s an action movie and he wants to give it his absolute best.
"Everyone is anticipating him looking amazing when he finally puts on that tux for the last time."
