CORONATION Street's Tim Metcalfe grew a chest of hair between scenes in Friday night's episode.
Ffans noticed that the cabbie, played by Joe Duttine, 48, had a clean-cut look as he sat in his Street Cabs office at 14 minutes into the soap.
But five minutes later he returned home to his Weatherfield wife Sally Webster, played by Sally Dynevor, wearing the same open-top shirt - but had sprouted a full chest of hair.
His facial hair had also been on a growing frenzy within that time frame.
One fan commented: "Did anyone else notice the continuity on Tim's chest hair in last night's episode?"
The popular character suffered a shock heart attack in Sunday's episode and was rushed to hospital.
Tim had returned home after a 17-hour shift and reached for some indigestion tablets after he began feeling unwell - but was told by medics his condition was more serious.
Another fan reasoned the actor had his chest shaved in anticipation for the coming scenes, writing: "Hair topped. Heart attack material."
In real life, actor Joe is dating co-star Sally Carman, who plays Abi Franklin.
They went public with their romance at the soap's summer party last year with an insider confirming: "Both Joe and Sally had been single for a while and just met at the right time in their lives.
"Sally thinks Joe is a funny and caring guy and he’s really fallen for her, too."
