CORONATION Street fans were baffled last night when Maria Connor said "nobody had put a ring on it" - despite her being married TWICE and engaged a further FOUR times.
Despite Maria's declaration, she has actually collected a total of eight rings by combining her engagements and marriages.

Viewers noticed the error as some of the Weatherfield residents took part in a Mr & Mrs quiz in The Rovers.
Emma played host as Chesney and Gemma, Tracy and Steve, Billy and Paul took to the stage.
Maria - played by Samia Longchambon - stepped in as David's fake "other half" after his wife, Shona, failed to turn up.
The pair have worked together for years in Audrey's salon but were soon knocked out of the competition.

Maria and David had been knocked out of the Mr&Mrs game in the Rovers when the blunder happened
Knocking them out of the competition, David joked to Maria: "Shouldn't we like get faked divorced or something?"
Maria responded: "You never put a ring on it".
David replied: "Neither did anyone else".
But it was Maria's next comment, which viewers failed to understand, as she replied: "True story".

It appears Maria has forgotten she's been married twice, and had another four engagements.
She even goes by her first married name 'Connor', rather than her maiden name 'Sutherland'.
When she first came to the street, Maria became engaged to her first boyfriend, Tyrone Dobbs.
She then had a brief engagement to Nick Tilsley - who is David's brother, making it extra unusual that they both forgot about the ring that he put on her finger.
In 2008, she married Liam Connor, Michelle Connor's brother.
