The professional dancer has addressed his fall from grace for the first time
KEVIN CLIFTON’s reputation went from sweetness to scandalous after his secret relationship with dance partner Stacey Dooley was revealed last month.
When she ended her five-year relationship with boyfriend Sam Tucknott for him, Strictly pro Kevin quickly became the new bad boy of the family-friendly show.
Addressing his fall from grace for the first time, Kevin said: “I seem to be public enemy number one at the moment.
“I’ll get blamed for the Meghan Markle baby as well.”
Funnily enough, I think Prince Harry will be taking credit for that one.
Kevin made the comments at the matinée performance of dance show Burn The Floor at the New Wimbledon Theatre on Sunday.
Despite admitting to falling out of favour, he still had the support of Stacey and his fellow dancer sister Joanne Clinton during his performance at the South West London venue.
They proudly watched from a balcony together, suggesting they have forged a close friendship.
An onlooker said: “Stacey looked ever the doting girlfriend as she clapped and cheered Kevin on during the show, and giggled over the balcony with Joanne.
“At one point he even blew her a very public kiss from the stage and she spent a lot of time proudly filming him on her phone.
“They clearly didn’t care just how besotted they looked with each other.”
During a previous performance on the Saturday night Kevin had rubbished claims he may not return for the next series of BBC1’s Strictly.
He said: “I will be returning to Strictly this year.
“I’ve been reading for about four months that I’ve quit Strictly or that I’ve been sacked.
"I’ve no idea where it’s come from.”
Kevin has a history with the Strictly curse — as his previous partners Louise Redknapp and Susanna Reid also ended long-term relationships after dancing with him.
Good luck to his next partner’s partner.
LADY GAGA took her fashion to new heights by wearing these towering platform heels to a party in New York on Sunday night.
She was a guest of honour at a bash thrown by American Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour ahead of tonight’s fashion Met Gala in the city, which she is also due to attend.
Gaga, with a gigantic dress and tiny handbag, over-shadowed an unusually covered-up Rita Ora.
Models Karlie Kloss and Stella Maxwell were there too, as was Harry Styles, looking like he’d got fashion inspiration from his old boss Simon Cowell’s high-waisted trousers.
Even with Harry making it cool, I can’t see Simon heading down the catwalk any time soon.
STUFFING your face is a standard end to a night out in the UK – and Hugh Jackman got in on the act ahead of his first solo tour, which kicks off in Glasgow tonight.
The actor ended up in a local chippy on Sunday where locals spotted him tucking into deep-fried pizza after he splashed out £50,000 on a party for his 50-strong entourage.
The bash started at the posh Blythswood Hotel on Saturday night and ended with a private boat tour along the Clyde on Sunday.
A source said: “Hugh wanted to treat the crew after all their hard work at rehearsals. He was really generous and put on a free bar all night. Preparations have been intense so this was a chance for everyone to chill a bit.”
Hugh’s tour will see him perform songs from shows including The Greatest Showman and Les Mis.
I’m sure his post-party refuel will have put him back on top form and ensured it’s a great show.

EMMA ROBERTS showed ex-fiancé Evan Peters what he was missing in this .
The Meet The Millers actress ended her engagement to Evan in March after a series of rows while filming American Horror Story.
Speaking about their break-up, Emma – who went topless for the magazine – said: “Losing something is hard. I’m realising that life is highs and lows. I’m trying to ride them out and live some-where in the middle.”
I’m sure Emma won’t be on the shelf for long.
MADONNA has announced her Madame X tour will come to London next year for a series of intimate gigs at the London Palladium.
I can confirm the Queen of Pop was secretly shown around the venue last year as she worked on her music comeback ahead of the highly anticipated shows.
Rather than performing in arenas, she will treat fans to concerts in smaller venues.
Her tour will kick off with on September 12 with seven nights at New York’s Howard Gilman Opera House.
She will go on to perform in six other US cities before heading to Europe in 2020 for concerts in Lisbon, Paris and London.
Tickets for the UK shows are due to go on sale this summer after the release of her new album Madame X on June 14.
Madonna’s Sticky & Sweet tour from 2008 to 2009 was the highest-grossing concert tour ever by a female artist, making £312million, and she remains the best-selling female solo touring artist of all time.
And long may she continue.

She hired the mansion made famous in The Godfather film, in California for the bash on Saturday night with a bunch of A-list pals.
Guests had to leave their phones at the door to ensure no details were leaked – only for Leonardo DiCaprio’s dad to spill the beans on Instagram.
David Ward wrote online: “Celebrated Adele’s 31st at the most amazing Gatsby-esque and lavish gig last night. All cell phones were handed in by guests and no paparazzi present.
“Party held at the iconic Godfather mansion, home to the horses head in the famed 1972 movie.”
Adele marked her big day by sharing a picture of herself in a funky 1920s-style dress and teased fans about her upcoming album, after some suggested it would be full of heartbreak songs following her split.
She joked: “I’ll learn to love you lot eventually! Bunch of f***ing savages, 30 will be a drum ’n’ bass record to spite you. Chin up eh!”
Whatever she chooses to do, I only hope Leo’s dad doesn’t let the cat out of the bag first.

Courtney Act is gunning for a duet with Lady Gaga after singing at her birthday party in Oz.
