Mark's many fans were quick to congratulate him, with one writing: "Over the moon for you Mark!!! Happiest bday."

Another added: "so happy for you guys !!!!! You 2 are gonna be the BEST parents !!!"

A third agreed, writing: "Woahhh congrats Marky. you will be an amazing dad for sure."

Mark and Cailean became engaged back in February, and are planning to tie the knot this summer.

It's been a busy few months for Mark - who came out in 2005 - after he reunited with his Westlife bandmates for a new album and tour.

The star recently spoke to the Mail on Sunday about his dreams of being a father, saying: "I would love to have my own kids running around one day.

"Listen, that is absolutely a dream for me when it happens. I say when it happens because it will happen.

"It is absolutely the next step. Everything is exciting. Sometimes your work is amazing but your personal life is in trouble. Sometimes the personal life is great but you have no work.

"When the two come together it is the perfect harmony and that is where I am at and hopefully it will stay like that."
