Phoebe Waller-Bridge to star in Killing Eve’s next season – to be murdered by Villanelle

PHOEBE Waller-Bridge is finally going to give herself a part in her international smash hit television series Killing Eve.
The BAFTA-winning actress and writer pens the BBC America show that features Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh as a female assassin and an MI6 officer respectively, but has never appeared on screen in the show, until now.
And she's planning to kill herself off in grisly scenes that make the most of the devilish Villanelle's skills.
She told the : "I was like, I am going to write myself a part so that I can be murdered by Jodie."
It comes after she admitted she cast Jodie and Sandra in the roles to have an age gap relationship on screen - and to avoid casting herself.
Phoebe added: "I just had a really strong instinct that there should be this age gap because I just felt like it was something I hadn’t seen.
"I’m not a 25-year-old Jodie Comer – I mean, let’s be frank.
"And I don’t know if I could have scaled a wall quite like she could have done, and I’m not in my early 40s either."
The Crashing star also spoke about how proud she is of creating a show that allows women to have powerful, interesting and dynamic roles without requiring nudity.
She said: "Being able to say to Jodie, ‘This is your character – this wild, unpredictable girl and you don’t even have to take your top off’. Everyone felt very passionate about it and the actors as well.
