HOLLY Willoughby missed today's This Morning after being invited by Elton John to watch his hit-packed farewell gig in Italy last night as a special guest.
The Sun Online can exclusively reveal that the TV star, 38, jetted to Italy on Friday with husband Dan Baldwin and spent Sunday at the Lucca Summer Festival watching the music legend.

Elton belted out hit after hit in his 24-song set which opened with Bennie And The Jets and featured the likes of Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man and I'm Still Standing.
A source said: "Holly is a big Elton fan and couldn't refuse an invite from the man himself. Bosses were accommodating and let her extend her Italian getaway to properly enjoy the show."
Holly confirmed the news on her Instagram account this evening, sharing a picture with Dan and Elton.
She wrote: "What a weekend... huge thank you to @eltonjohn for putting on the most incredible concert in Lucca @luccasummerfestival #LSF19 ... Songs were sung, memories were made and dreams can true when Elton dedicated a song to Dan and I ❤️ thank you @bengibsonphoto for taking this picture! #eltonfarewelltour."

The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Holly for comment.
This Morning fans were baffled as Holly failed to appear on the show today.
Phillip Schofield, who was hosting alongside Rochelle Humes, laughed as he told ITV viewers: "Holly is having a long weekend."

The 57-year-old presenter didn't elaborate, turning to the regular stand-in, saying: "Rochelle is here. It's nice to see you."
Fans were confused, asking: "Where's Holly?" and: "Where’s @hollywills today?"
Some jokers also suggested Holly had a heavy weekend, insisting: "Holly hungover."
Another laughed: "Holly is having a long weekend = Holly is hungover."

Others complained that they weren't getting their Holly fix, tweeting: "She takes day/days off,every couple of weeks!!"
Holly's absence from the show meant she missed out on seeing her favourite ever guest, mind-reader Colin Cloud.
When he appeared in 2015, she was left dazzled by his Sherlock Holmes-style deductions that Phillip Schofield had broken his toe while moving his daughter into her new home.
She squealed: "Oh please do me. I know we haven't got time to do it now but can you please stay and do me?"

Rochelle also appeared on Friday's edition of the show, when she appeared alongside former Towie star Mark Wright.
Not everyone enjoyed the double-act, with one harshly slamming them a "Poundland Phil and Holly".
Another said: "This is like listening to 12 year olds talking outside the local shops."
