Scarlett Moffatt blocks boutique she ghosted on Instagram and deletes Twitter after backlash
SCARLETT Moffatt has blocked the boutique she was accused of ghosting on Instagram and has deleted her Twitter account following backlash.
The former Gogglebox star, 29, hit headlines after she allegedly begged for a £150 skirt on Instagram and then failed to promote it.
Scarlett reportedly approached MySuitcase Boutique to ask for a customised version of their tulle skirt with crystal stars to wear to Pride in New York in return for "lots of posts" on Instagram – but she failed to wear it or promote it.
Last night Scarlett reportedly sent a series of message to owner Michaela Liu before deleting them and then blocking the Instagram account.
Michaela told the "I didn't want to read the messages because it was close to midnight and I wanted to be in the right frame of mind to reply.
“And then, when I looked on Tuesday morning, the messages were gone, so I messaged her asking why they were no longer visible. And that's when I realised she'd blocked me.”
Scarlett has also decided to deactivate her Twitter account in the account in the wake of drama, which saw her viciously trolled.
She was inundated with tweets from her fans who begged her to post a picture of the skirt she was sent to support the small business – but rather then replying she opted to block the users.
Over the weekend it was revealed that Scarlett was sent a custom made pink skirt for her trip but left the owner heartbroken as she ignored her.
The owner said she feels "taken advantage" of after the exchange with the I'm A Celeb winner.

"As a clothing brand, I rely on collaborations with Instagram influencers to get my business noticed, as well as word of mouth and great customer feedback," she said.
"We spoke via direct message on Instagram and she described exactly what she wanted... our signature TULLE skirt with crystal stars in black, for a huge event she was hosting - the first ever Virgin Atlantic pride flight to New York."
"She told me about she specifically wanted our signature tulle skirt in black because it would work perfectly with a hat she'd had made - also with stars on - and promised 'lots of posts' in return."
Michaela claims she stayed up late each night for days on end to complete the skirt, which never appeared on Scarlett’s Instagram.
