Chris Evans reveals his Virgin Radio Breakfast Team have to print things out bigger to help his failing eyesight

CHRIS Evans has revealed that his bad eyesight means his team have to print things out bigger for him – and he’s only just noticed.
On his Virgin Radio Breakfast Show this morning, the presenter told guest Rachel Ama, a vegan chef, that his team had subtly been increasing the font on his paperwork.
“I have just realised the team have started printing in bigger print anyway, without telling me,” he said.
“Hilarious. So I go out and get some reading glasses and this coincides with the team printing out everything in bigger font.
“However, fortunately, fortunately the national newspapers haven't, so I do still need my brand new reading glasses, that are making feel sick.”
When Rachel sounded concerned about the glasses making him feel sick, Chris clarified: “I got motion sickness, yeah. Nobody tells you this. Nobody tells you this.”
Just last week, Chris sounded a bit more hopeful about his eyesight, saying that he didn’t actually need glasses because he got laser eye surgery – but wore them to “look like him”.
Surprising another guest, Ashley Jenson, with the revelation that his glasses had clear lenses in them, he said: "Because this is filmed, they want me to look like me, so they have made me put these on."
A shocked Ashley remarked: "I thought you had contact lenses."
"No, I had laser eye surgery," the former Big Breakfast host replied. "It's a whole different story."
Chris underwent laser eye surgery in September 2013.
