Gary Lineker, 58, reveals he’s ‘not massively into sex’ and prefers flirting over dinner

GARY Lineker has revealed he's not "massively into sex" and prefers flirting over dinner as he opened up about his private life.

The former England player, 58, is currently single after splitting from his second wife Danielle Bux in 2016, but insists he won't be getting into a new relationship anytime soon as he's "incredibly fussy."

He told the : "It’s a stupid and horrible thing to say in a way, but I’m not massively into sex. I quite like flirting a little bit.

"Now that’s all I do. But then after that… This is really being honest: It’s like hard work. Going on a date and then, yes, come on, let’s do it. Do we really have to do all that? So I’ve hardly had any dates."

The sports pundit added: "I’ve had the odd one. But I’m straight right from the start. I say, 'I don’t want a relationship; a nice dinner’s fine'."

Gary's first marriage to Michelle Cockayne came to an end in 2006.

The pair, who split after 20 years together, share four sons- George, 27, Harry, 25, Tobias, 23 and Angus, 22.

After their split, Lineker married former lingerie model Danielle, who is 19 years his junior.

However, the couple separated three years ago following reports Danielle wanted more children, despite them agreeing not to.

Last month, the Match of the Day host was slammed by social media users after he suggested he “must be due a pay rise”— despite raking in £1.75m a year as the BBC’s highest paid star.

Gary was replying to the official account for the footie highlights show as it marked his twentieth season.

He replied: “Christ! 20 years: must be due a pay rise.”

Twitter users claimed the former Tottenham striker was “fishing” for a response, while others said he was trolling female presenters.
