STRICTLY Come Dancing viewers were left baffled tonight after Anneka Rice went missing during the first group dance before 'magically' reappearing right at the end.
The 60-year-old presenter is the oldest celebrity in the competition this year, and was paired up with current champ Kevin Clifton during the launch show.
However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed Anneka was nowhere to be seen during the first group dance at the end of the show, before suddenly reappearing alongside her fellow celebs as the confetti showered down.
Taking to Twitter, viewers were confused as to why Anneka had skipped the number despite being seen in rehearsals for it on social media.
One wrote: "What was going on with Anneka Rice not being in the group dance and then magically appearing at the end #Strictly."
Another tweeted: "Where was Anneka in the last dance? She just popped up at the end."
A third added: "After watching the group dance three times I can safely say that Anneka Rice never made it to the dance floor but joined in the end for the round of applause. Pity about Kevin but I want her to be the first one to be booted off #Strictly."
A fellow viewer also noticed her absence, writing: "What happened to Anneka in the group dance she wasn't there at all but then magically appeared at the very end??"
One possible reason for Anneka going AWOL from the group number could be injured shoulder.
Ahead of the launch show, Anneka told The Sun Online she had torn a muscle in her shoulder and needed steroid injections to try and help it heal.

She said: "About six weeks ago, I fell in my neighbour's garden going down quite a slippery slope.
"It was after I had signed up and was all ready to go, but in the middle of my proper fitness training, so the last six weeks I have had to really rest it.
"I had steroid injections yesterday, and hopefully with a miracle, it will be fine."
But when asked how long it will be until her injury has fully healed, she replied: "I don't know, the steroid injection should help, it just so inflamed.
"It has got a small tear, and it is inflamed, but it is nothing so bad that I can't carry on.
