The 31-year-old actor was born on December 23, 1990, in South Carolina, and was known as an actor, writer, and model. 

Aside from The Walking Dead, he also made appearances on USA Queen of the South, HBO Watchmen, BET Tales, and the film Volumes of Blood: Horror Stories.

Moseley's career dates back to 2010 when he reportedly began taking his dreams seriously after reaching his ideal weight.

When the late star was 16, he weighed 300 pounds and spent two years dieting and exercising to lose over 150 pounds, according to his .

What was Moses J. Moseley's cause of death?

Family members told that they had not heard from Moseley since January 23, prompting them to issue a missing person report three days later after.

His body was later discovered on January 26, in the Hudson Bridge area of Stockbridge, Georgia, and his manager confirmed his passing.

“Everyone is devastated, Moses will be missed deeply,” Tabatha Minchew said in a statement, via the .

“He was always a delight to be around, always happy and excited about life. The world has lost an amazing and talented person.”

On March 21, 2022, confirmed Moseley's cause of death.

The outlet reported that the actor died of a gunshot to the head.

Prior to his cause of death being confirmed, it was reported that Moseley suffered a gunshot wound.

Officials are still pending their decision on ruling the death as an accident or a suicide, per the documents.

Just days before his death, he had generously donated his cameo earnings to mental health charities.
