Inside Khloe Kardashian’s past romance with Trey Songz as ‘fling’ with singer broke up her lifelong friendship
KHLOE Kardashian's past romance with Trey Songz is often overlooked.
But hitting rewind reveals her "fling" with the singer broke up a lifelong friendship with Lauren London.
Khloe, 37, and singer Trey, also 37, were recently spotted together at a group dinner in LA and insiders claim they’ve reconnected over text as the reality star lent her support.
Last month, Trey - real name Tremaine Aldon Neverson - was accused of “brutally” raping a woman at a house party in Los Angeles in 2016 in a $20million lawsuit – allegations that he strongly denies.
“Khloe has always had a thing about Trey,” the reality star’s friend exclusively told The Sun. “She hooked up with him back in 2016 and they stayed friends even after it was all over.”
“He's been texting her recently, as he's been caught up in a big mess with the accusations.
“She's lending him a shoulder to cry on, because she also needs one too - and she is carrying a lot of anger over the Tristan [Thompson] chapter, and how it ended.”
Though a "reconnected" Khloe and Trey's 2016 romance fizzled out - so did something else as a result.

KHLOE & LAUREN LONDON
Khloe and Lauren, 34, were friends since their 20s - and the Keeping Up With The Kardashians alum threw Lauren a baby shower for her first child in 2009, going public as pals.
"Khloe just had a big shower at my mom’s house for Lauren London," sister Kourtney Kardashian told at the time.
Lauren was then pregnant with her first child, Kameron Carter, now 12, whom she shares with her ex-fiancé and famous rapper Lil Wayne.
The ATL actress gave birth to her son in September 2009.

The same year, Kardashian had Lauren as her bridesmaid at her wedding to ex Lamar Odom.
Other bridesmaids included her sisters Kourtney, Kim Kardashian, and Malika Haqq - as seen at the alter on KUWTK Season 4.
Their friendship kept going strong as Lauren split from Lil Wayne in 2009 and then began spending time with Trey that year
They were romantically linked for four years per .
“We are not together. We just took a picture together. I know him and he’s a great guy, so I laugh at that,” she the internet show "Q Side".
Trey felt differently.
“Lauren London is a very important person to me, I love her to death. Is she my woman? No. We are great friends and we HAVE been lovers before,” he told in 2012.
TREY & KHLOE EXPLAINED
Khloe and Trey were originally linked back in July 2016 when they were spotted "making out" in Las Vegas on a night out. They met when Trey appeared on Khloe’s short-lived chat show, Kocktails With Khloe, in March that year.
"They weren't shy about it!" an eyewitness told about the nightclub makeout moment.
Khloe and Trey were also spotted "playfully touching" at Dave & Busters around that time celebrating her birthday party (seen above).
Back in July 2014, Trey and Chris Brown also partied with Kardashian's half-sisters, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
'FAKE'
Lauren and Khloe remained friends until 2016, when the reality star and Trey were spotted "making out."
Shortly after, Lauren posted a cryptic now-deleted Instagram video about “fake b**ches” that didn't mention Khloe by name.
Their last public appearance together was reportedly in 2015.
A clearly upset Lauren had luckily moved on - finding love again with Nipsey Hussle.
Nipsey and Lauren, 37, were together for about six years before the rapper was killed.
The Grammy Award winner was fatally shot on March 31, 2019.
The former couple welcomed their first son together back in 2016, three years before Nipsey's death - named Kross.
BAD TIMING
Khloe took to her Instagram Stories on April 1 2019 to honor Nipsy, posting an all-text message along with two photos of Lauren and Nipsy.
But it was unclear the last time she had spoken to Lauren.
“If you love something, love it completely, cherish it, say it, but most importantly show it,” her all-text Instagram Story read.
“Life is finite and fragile, and just because something is there one day, it might not be the next," she continued.
Many fans slammed Khloe for posting about the loss while simultaneously promoting the Season 16 premiere of her reality show.
"khloekardashian @kimkardashian I hope you reached out to Lauren London personally. Y’all were supposed to be her friend, and all I see y’all posting about is that stupid a** show, SMH," one bashed on Twitter per .
Khloe no longer follows Lauren on Instagram as of writing though she still follows singer Cassie who appeared in their group photo from back in the day.
Fans also slammed how Khloe treated Jordyn Woods after her "kissing" scandal with since-cheating ex Tristan.
Khloe shares daughter True, 3, with Tristan who confirmed he fathered his third child with third baby mama Maralee Nichols in January.
Trey is now married to Caro Colon and they have one son, Noah.
Lauren seems close with her two sons if not with Khloe since 2016.
