Love Actually fans shocked as they discover Thomas Brodie-Sangster was just five years younger than Keira Knightley

LOVE Actually fans have been left shocked after realising Thomas Brodie-Sangster was just five years younger than Keira Knightley during filming.
The legendary Christmas flick, which was released in 2003, has become a yuletide staple for many over the years.
Keira played Juliet in the original movie and was 18-years-old at the time of film's release.
Meanwhile, Thomas, who was 13-years-old during filming, stole hearts as the adorable step-son son of Liam.
Their shock age gap didn't go amiss with a fan on Twitter.
Alongside a photo of the pair from the movie, they wrote: "Yearly reminder that there is only a five year age gap between Thomas Brodie-Sangster and Keira Knightley in Love Actually."
Fans couldn't contain their disbelief over the post, which recieved 19.3K retweets and 108.5K likes, as they commented on the shock age gap.
A movie fan said: "HAD TO GOOGLE AND STILL DON'T BELIEVE EVEN THOUGH I KNOW IT'S TRUE."
Another wrote: "RIGHTTTTT i was so shook by this i thought it had to be fake."
A third tweeted: "thomas brodie-sangster has always looked like an infant."
Director Richard Curtis previously revealed how Hugh Grant hated filming the movie's iconic dance scene.
During the film, the Hollywood star, who plays the Prime Minister, dances around his Downing Street home to Jump.
In an interview with , Richard revealed the truth: "[Hugh] was hugely grumpy about it.
"The fault line was the dance, because there was no way he could do that in a prime ministerial manner.

"He kept on putting it off, and he didn’t like the song — it was originally a Jackson 5 song, but we couldn’t get it — so he was hugely unhappy about it.
"We didn’t shoot it until the final day and it went so well that when we edited it, it had gone too well, and he was singing along with the words.
"When you edit a dance sequence like that, it’s going to be a third of the length, and the bit he’s singing the words to isn’t going to be the bit of that moment, so it was incredibly hard to edit."
