Love Island’s Maura reveals she hasn’t seen Curtis in two weeks and he STILL hasn’t asked her to be his girlfriend

LOVE Island's Maura Higgins has revealed that she hasn't seen Curtis Pritchard in two weeks - and he STILL hasn't asked her to be his girlfriend.

The 28-year-old beauty finished the ITV2 dating show in fourth place with the 23-year-old dancer, but things have barely progressed since they left the villa.

Addressing their manic schedules since finding fame as reality stars, Maura insisted: "I mean, it's not hard. I don't find it hard because I'm kept busy and he is too."

Touching on how long it has been since they last saw each other, she added to the Irish Mirror: "Obviously it's very different after coming out of the villa where you were with each other 24/7.

"But coming out, it's a whole new relationship. You're not going to see each other every single day."

She then admitted that she and Curtis haven't made their romance official yet, explaining: "We haven't seen each other in two weeks but that's because of our hectic schedules, but I mean, I'm happy with the pace we're going and i think he is as well."

Earlier this week it was confirmed that Maura will be taking part on Dancing On Ice early next year, with the programme known to trigger relationship break ups.

Love Island alumni Wes Nelson ended up splitting from girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson following his stint on the show, but Curtis told us that he is confident his and Maura's romance will survive.

He told The Sun Online: "It's only a curse if you believe in it. I'm sure Maura will be fine."

Laughing, he added: "Fingers crossed."

Speaking about their long-distance romance he added: "Things are going good. She's in Ireland and flies back tomorrow.

"I'm working here but we both understand. We do phone calls and messages. Distance often makes the heart grow fonder."
