Who has been cast for season five?
Unfortunately, ITV has yet to reveal details concerning cast members for the forthcoming series.
However that hasn't stopped rumours of this years contestants from circulating online.
Ethan Allen
Love Island 2017 star Gabby Allen set tongues wagging when she seemed to let slip that her hunky younger brother Ethan would be appearing in the new series.
Speaking on Heart in May 2019 she admitted: "I'd love him to go on it, I think it'd be jokes."
Before she accidentally said "he will be" in reference to him entering the villa - but the blonde beauty quickly backtracked so as not to give anything away.
And it wouldn't be a far cry if Ethan did enter the villa as he was even having talks with producers during last year's show.
A source told The Sun at the time: “Ethan didn’t want to go on the show initially, even though Gabby had such an amazing time
“But producers were keen to get him on board and he’s been in for a couple of meetings.
“He’s not fully on board yet, and it’s too early to say who’s definitely going on the show, but he’s in talks and Gabby is encouraging him to do it.”
Curtis Pritchard
Strictly Come Dancing professional AJ Pritchard's younger brother, Curtis, is rumoured to appear on the programme.
A telly source said: “His body is ideal for being in swimwear all day, plus he’s a lovely bloke with a great sense of humour so is sure to be a hit with the ladies.
"They are also hoping that he will bring some sexy salsa moves to the villa.”
Curtis signed up to the ITV2 show five months after he and 24-year-old AJ were battered by eight thugs in a Cheshire nightclub.
Sav Berry
According to reports one 'confirmed' contestant is 23-year-old Sav Berry.
The social media influencer is rumoured to be taking part after pics were leaked of him in summer-wear from show alumnus Kem Cetinay's Primark range as he posed in front of a pink screen.
A representative for Love Island told The Sun Online: "Any stories surrounding the line up are pure speculation and we will confirm this year’s line up in due course."
Ted Pullin
The Sun exclusively revealed that Love Island alumni Jack Fowler's model pal Ted Pullin was in talks to enter the villa.
The Oxford hunk has been seen by bosses for the 2019 series after being a stand-by last year.
A source said: "Ted would certainly be a popular - and recognisable - addition to the Love Island villa.
"He's already got a following on social media, no doubt after thousands googled 'hot Blakely model' after seeing one of his ads.
"He came close to landing a place on the show last time, but just missed out. This could be his year."
Soph Piper
Producers of the show are “desperate” for Rochelle Humes’ lookalike sister Soph Piper, 20, to join the line-up of singletons jetting off to Majorca this summer.
An insider said: “ITV2 bosses are really keen for Soph to be the star of this year’s series.
“Last year they had Dani and her claim to fame with dad Danny captured viewers and boasted the show’s ratings.
“This year they’re hoping to do the same with Rochelle and her youngest sister, who’s the spitting image of her.
“Soph is the perfect islander – she’s incredibly beautiful and loves meeting new people after already doing a season in Ibiza.
“She’s currently deciding with her family if it’s the right move for her but it’s looking like a strong possibility.”
Lotan Carter
The Sun exclusively revealed that bosses had auditioned controversial reality star and stripper Lotan Carter for the 2019 show.
Producers met with Lotan, who was kicked off Big Brother in 2017 for aggressive behaviour, last week with a view to casting him on the show.
An insider tells The Sun Online: “Lotan’s really up for it and he’s been training so he looks his best on camera.
“Producers seemed really interested but he’s worried his reality show past might work against him.
“He’s got some really good stories about celebs, though, and would make great TV.
“And he’s looking for love. He wants to find The One and hopes that he can find someone to settle down with through the show.”
Jane Park
Lottery winner Jane Park is another one who could be entering the villa.
An insider told The Sun: “Jane has made it clear she is on the lookout for the perfect guy and reckons Love Island is a great place to start.
“Chiefs approached her before but Jane didn’t feel ready. She’s single now and feels the time is right to explore options.
“She loved last year’s show and thinks it might give her something long-lasting.”
Sairah Pinnock
Last year The Sun exclusively revealed that Little Mix star Leigh-Anne Pinnock’s lookalike sister Sairah was among the secret Love Island hopefuls lined up to enter the show’s villa later in the series.
A show insider said at the time: “Sairah is one of the Love Island reserves who could be thrown into the mix at any time during one of the episodes.
“She’s had her fair share of bad relationships so is well and truly on the look-out for love and a long-term relationship.
“Sairah is just as glam as her famous sister and is a real party girl as she even runs her own party planning business.
“She even got the thumbs up from Leigh to enter the villa so producers jumped at the opportunity to sign her up.”
Since she didn't make it last year, it's possible that this could be her year!
Braelin Kail Peery
Model Braelin Kail Peery, 20, told her Twitter followers that she had also been approached to join the fifth series.
The Atlanta native has made quite a name for herself through her racy photos on social media platforms such as Instagram, so she’d seem like the perfect fit for the show.
“I really just got asked to be on the show love island …” she tweeted back in March.
In response to a fan asking her whether she’d consider the idea of filming the reality show in the UK, she responded, saying: “I’m 20 and have never been in a relationship before. I can’t already be going on love shows.”
Ercan Ramadan
In February 2019 The Sun revealed that the ex Only Way Is Marbs star had already been approached to head into the villa in June.
Ercan, who now works on a building site, counts 2018 Love Island winner Jack Fincham among his close pals and is an ideal candidate because of his "strong social media" presence - with a cool 52.4k followers already in the bag.
But his romance with Vicky, 31, could have thrown a spanner in the works, as sources revealed: "Love Island casting agents are approaching people with low-level fame to take part in this year’s show.
"Ercan was approached by casting producers in January.
"They told him he'd be a perfect fit for the show and that they really wanted him on board.
"He knows it would be good for his career but he's with Vicky now, so he's not sure how to play it.
all about love island
"It's a total U-turn after Love Island bosses binned reality stars for the last series."
Given that the show is airing on June 3, it would seem as if filming with the new members is well underway.
An official press release via the network is expected this month (May) - the month in which ITV has been known to roll out promotional adverts for the show.
