ANTON Danyluk was tonight branded the Love Island snake after viewers were left cringing on their sofas by his attempts to steal Lucie Donlan.

Hundreds tweeted their disapproval at his bid to swipe her from Joe Garratt writing: "Snakes don't hiss they just go on Love Island and are called Anton."

Countless fans slung insults at the 24-year-old gym owner, posting: "Screaming at all the girls on the telly to not fall for Anton cos hes a RAT."

Another dealt the gym owner a retro insult, asking: "Why does Anton think he’s Adam Collard? 🤦🏽‍♂️."

Surfer girl Lucie had already coupled up with 22-year-old Joe - but that didn't stop Anton bowling over and asking to cut into their conversation.

Fans couldn't handle it as Anton then offered Lucie the chance to "get to know me better" before boasting that she was sure to fall for his charms.

"She's only human, come on," the ultra-confident Scotsman, who has boasted of cheating on all his past girlfriends, insisted.

He told Lucie: "I'm not looking to waste time - I'm just so attracted to you.

"I think you're a lovely looking girl and I wouldn't want you not to know that."

But Lucie stood firm, telling Anton that despite the girls all fancying him when he walked in, that she remained a Joe fan, insisting: "I really like him."

And later, she told the girls: "Obviously I don't fancy him" despite earlier telling the lad: "You're very good looking."

Even in his native Scotland, Anton, who earlier admitted his mum was responsible for tidying up his rear end, wasn't getting much love.

One viewer posted: "Please do not associate anton with us... In fact just dont send him back. Imagine admitting yer ma shaves yet bummm."

However, it wasn't all bad. One fan asked hopefully: "Am I the only one who likes Anton?"
