LOVE Island's Amy Hart has been offered psychological support after viewers urged producers to step in following her breakdown over Curtis Pritchard.
Curtis, 23, left his half-girlfriend devastated last night after he admitted he had had his head turned by Jourdan Riane while Amy was in Casa Amor - and had wanted to recouple with her.
While Curtis was questioning their relationship, Amy was oblivious in Casa Amor and admitted to her friends she had fallen in love with the ballroom dancer.
Amy was initially delighted to see Curtis standing by himself waiting for her when she returned to the main villa on Tuesday's show, but he immediately told her they "needed to talk".
After he confessed to having his head turned by Jourdan, Amy sobbed in the Beach Hut, leaving viewers heartbroken and begging producers to support her.
A Love Island spokesperson told The Sun Online: "We take the emotional well-being of all the Islanders extremely seriously.
"We have dedicated welfare producers and psychological support on hand at all times who monitor and regularly speak to all of the Islanders in private and off camera, especially if someone appears to be upset.
"All the Islanders are therefore fully supported by the professionals on site and by their friends in the villa.
"This means Islanders are always able to reach out and talk to someone if they feel the need.
"We will of course continue to monitor all of our Islanders in line with our robust protocols.

"Love Island holds a mirror up to relationships and all the different dynamics that go with them."
Breaking down in tears in the Beach Hut Amy declared last night: "I thought I'd met my first love and the one and it turns out I haven't.
"I'm someone's back up plan yet again and he disrespected me in such a way.
"I wouldn't have ever looked at anyone else. He was my future and now I have nothing and he's taken that away from me."
