Lucie Donlan and Joe Garratt go back to a hotel together after boozy Love Island reunion after party

JOE Garratt and Lucie Donlan were spotted heading back to a hotel together after leaving the Love Island reunion after party in a taxi.
Earlier in the evening, the pair – who were coupled up on the show – admitted they had snogged since being dumped from the villa but insisted they were just taking things slowly.
But as the evening came to an end Joe was seen carrying Lucie’s stuff into the cab as they headed off into the night together.
They were later spotted pulling up to a hotel at 2am in the morning, attempting to keep their distance to avoid arousing speculation about their status.
Speaking to Caroline Flack on the reunion show, the surfer played down anything between them saying: “We’re just chilling as friends.
“We’re taking it slow, there’s no rush.”
She also revealed that she wasn’t drunk when she kissed Joe at the ITV Summer party, insisting: “We didn’t really drink at the time because it was so nice to see everyone.”
Lucie was also grilled about liking a comment from a fan about her showing Tommy Fury what he is missing.
It read: "OMG Tommy’s jaw will hit the floor when he sees what he’s missed out on, said it from the beginning she was the most beautiful and natural girl in there."
The 21-year-old had been slammed during her time on the ITV2 dating show for relentlessly pursuing "best friend" Tommy - despite him being loved-up with girlfriend Molly-Mae Hague.
But she insisted it was all an accident, telling Caroline: “I thought it said she’s "nice" and "genuine" and it must have said that at the bottom and I’ve gone through and liked it and not really liked it... Then I saw [what I had done] and I was like WHAT.”
She continued: 'Yeah 'cos I was literally, obviously, getting so much hate online, I was going on and liking all my positive ones so I would get more positive than negative ones [comments].'
Host Caroline didn’t seem so sure and joked: “Those pesky thumbs.”
Lucie was torn between Tommy and sandwich-maker Joe Garratt during the first week on Love Island, ultimately choosing to couple up with Joe before Tommy found love with Instagram influencer Molly-Mae.

Lucie was dumped from the villa at the start of the month, after enraging fans when she broke down in tears as Tommy asked Molly to be his girlfriend.
