Oasis’s sold-out reunion shows next summer won’t be broadcast, but fans may still have the opportunity to experience the performances.

that Liam and Noel Gallagher are being offered the chance to record a live album in celebration of Oasis Live ’25 and those close to the pair reckon they’ll have to take up the offer.

A source said: “The Oasis reunion is an historic moment and these concerts will be talked about for decades to come. Many people around the brothers think they have to capture the shows.

“A live album of the Oasis reunion could be as iconic as The Who’s Live At Leeds in 1970 or Queen’s Live At Wembley ’86.

“It would capture the rock ’n’ roll alchemy that happens when Noel and Liam are on stage together.”

  • Is an Oasis documentary in the works?

Apple TV+ bosses want to film a multi-million-pound Beatles-style documentary about the Oasis reunion tour.

It would follow Noel and Liam Gallagher in the run-up to their hugely anticipated gigs next summer.

An insider told The Sun on Sunday: “This is set to be the film of the decade, with Apple TV+ proposing huge money to bag the rights to this documentary.

“They are facing competition from other streamers such as Amazon Prime and Netflix but Apple have thrown all their weight behind this one.

“Fans can expect it to be in the same style as the Beatles documentary which gave a never-before-seen insight into the band.”

  • Oasis were never big in America … why?

That’s a tricky question to answer – it all depends on who you ask but there’s no doubt their early “escapades” scuppered their chances of mega success. During an early US tour in the mid-90s, Noel walked out after falling out with Liam – though he did get a song out of it – Talk Tonight (after meeting a girl on a plane).

On a subsequent US tour, Liam refused to leave London to join the band claiming he didn’t have “anywhere to live”.

American promoters are notoriously unforgiving when they have to cancel shows … The inside story at present is Oasis contracts are water-tight. We shall see …

  • UK fans want refunds

Furious Oasis fans are demanding refunds ahead of the US leg of the band’s tour.

After the controversy surrounding dynamic pricing during UK ticket sales, Oasis confirmed they would not use the system for North American dates.

Now, UK fans are outraged, questioning why they were “taken advantage of” during the UK sales.

One fan wrote: “Cool—so where’s the refund for the overcharging of UK fans then?”

Another added: “Maybe refund the UK fans you ripped off?”

A third commented: “Not only did you fail to provide enough tickets for UK fans, but you also overcharged them. Unbelievable!”

  • Oasis greatest hits

For the first time since 2008, Oasis will perform in North America, marking a highly anticipated return to the continent after more than a decade.

Fans can expect to hear classic hits including:

    • Wonderwall
    • Don’t Look Back In Anger
    • Live Forever
    • Cigarettes & Alcohol
    • Champagne Supernova
  • Top ticket buying tips and mistakes to avoid

Avoid making the following errors to stand the best chance of success in your mission to buy Oasis tickets:

    • Waiting until the last minute to register — set up your account with the supplier ahead of them going on sale
    • Having an unverified account — a phone number and passcode will need to be set up
    • Don’t assume your old account is active — if you already have an account, double check it is still working, billing info is accurate and saved, and that you can remember the password
    • Poor internet signal — ensure your internet connection is strong
    • Running out of batty — check that the devices you are using are plugged in or fully charged
    • Do not refresh the page while in the waiting room — ticketing sites use a queuing system when busy and warn that refreshing won’t move you up the line (the page updates automatically, so once you’re in the queue it’s advisable to just wait and keep your fingers crossed)

  • What year did Oasis last play North America?

Oasis last played in North America on December 20, 2008 at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia.

This was their final show in the United States as part of their Dig Out Your Soul tour.

It began in August 2008 and included dates across the US, Canada and Mexico.

  • Dynamic pricing will not be used

Oasis has confirmed that the controversial dynamic pricing model will not be used for their North American tour.

Last month, fans were outraged after many found themselves paying up to three times the original ticket price for the UK and Ireland shows due to the use of dynamic pricing.

The system automatically adjusts prices based on demand in real-time, leaving many fans frustrated by sudden price hikes at checkout.

In a statement, the band’s management said: “It is widely accepted that dynamic pricing remains a useful tool to combat ticket touting and keep prices for a significant proportion of fans lower than the market rate and thus more affordable.

“But, when unprecedented ticket demand is combined with technology that cannot cope with that demand, it becomes less effective and can lead to an unacceptable experience for fans.

“We have made this decision for the North America tour to hopefully avoid a repeat of the issues fans in the UK and Ireland experienced recently.”

  • Liam Gallagher’s defiant response to Wembley critics

Liam Gallagher faced criticism last month after his performance at Wembley Stadium during the Anthony Joshua vs Daniel Dubois fight.

The 52-year-old rocker took to the stage for a three-song set, but some fans were less than impressed.

Critics described Liam’s vocals as sounding like “a dodgy impersonator,” and even compared him to a “tribute act.”

Remaining defiant, Gallagher vowed he wouldn’t let the backlash stop him from performing, posting a picture with the message: “You will not stop me from singing my song.

    “I will sing it forever.”

The general sale will begin today at 10am EST (3pm BST).

  • Parkas in the sun

Liam Gallagher-style parkas have seen a surge in demand since Oasis revealed their upcoming tour.

Originally popularized by the Mods in the 1960s, the iconic coat was revived in the 1990s by Liam during the height of Britpop.

Fashion chains have now said the coats are making a comeback.

Vintage clothing store Atika said they are scouring suppliers to keep up with demand for parkas with Oasis fans trying to recreate the look of swaggering front man Liam.

The store’s senior commercial manager John Howlin added: “Britpop was always a statement of swagger with a look over it’s shoulder to the British icon of the past.”
