THE Voice UK 2019 final is just around the corner, with a new winner set to be crowned tonight, has it got you thinking about next year's competition and whether that person up on stage trying to impress Jennifer Hudson, Sir Tom Jones, Will.i.am and Olly Murs could be you? Well, if you're serious about applying, here's the lowdown.

How do I apply for The Voice?
The Voice is returning in 2020 and applications are now open - .
Reckon you've got what it take to impress the coaches? Well, we've got some good news - the show's open mic nights are back.
Scouts will be in the crowd, on the lookout for solo singers, duo, trios and groups to be part of next year's series.
If you want to impress them, you'll need to prepare one or two songs with either a backing track on an electronic device or a musical instrument.
You have to be at least 16-years-old by 1 October 2019 in order to participate.

If you get an audition for The Voice 2020, what happens next?
You won't meet coaches Olly, Tom, Jennifer and Will straight away unfortunately.
If you impress the scouts, you will then go to an initial audition.
You then go through three rounds before you even get to go before the coaches.
Once you are through to the blind auditions with the coaches, you must be picked by one of the judges.
If this happens you then fight your way through the battles, knockouts and live shows and you’ve won it… simple eh?
Latest from The Voice
When does The Voice 2020 start on ITV?
The Voice UK 2020 is expected to launch in January next year.
An exact date is yet to be announced - and is unlikely to be confirmed until well after the current series finishes.
The 2019 series kicked off on Saturday January 5th at 8pm on ITV.
Next year, the show will probably start on or around the same date.
