What are the allegations against Trey Songz and what did he say about them?

OVER the years, Trey Songz has been the subject of nasty allegations.
In February 2022, new and serious allegations were made against the singer, whose real name is Tremaine Aldon Neverson, and fans want to know what they are.
Who is Trey Songz?
Born November 28, 1984, Trey, 37, is known as an American singer and actor.
He rose to fame following the release of his debut album I Gotta Make It, which was released in 2005, two years after he had signed with Atlantic records.
The Virginia native is most noted for his songs Say Aah, Bottoms Up and Slow Motion.
He also has one child, a boy called Noah, with an unknown woman.
What are the allegations against him?
In February 2022, Trey was accused of "brutally" raping his ex-girlfriend.
The unnamed woman alleges this incident happed at a house party in March 2016 and she has since filed a $20million lawsuit.

At the time, the two were reportedly in a consensual relationship but it then turned violent as she described the alleged rape as “brutal” and claimed Trey turned into a “savage rapist," reported.
Court documents claim that the alleged victim’s Uber driver saw she was distressed and took her to the hospital.
The new allegations come just months after Trey was accused of being a “rapist” by a former college basketball star, allegations he has since denied.
What has Trey Songz said about the new allegations?
Amid the allegations, a representative for Trey told TMZ: “Earlier today, the attorney who drafted this suit was credibly accused of trying to pay a woman to falsely accuse Trey.
“Hours later, that same attorney has filed this suit on behalf of an anonymous client.
“It isn’t hard to see what’s happening here, and it is a shame for genuine victims of sexual assault.”
At this time, it remains unclear what will happen with the lawsuit or if Trey will face criminal charges.
