Dad who had ‘Thug Life’ and ‘F*** the World’ tattoos in tribute to Tupac is too embarrassed to take his top off and says the ‘bullet’ looks like a TAMPON

FORMER soldier Liam told Channel 5's Tattoo Disasters the massive inkings were a drunken mistake

A DAD who had a massive swearword tattooed on his back as a tribute to Tupac Shakur has admitted he is too ashamed to take his top off.

Liam Bailey, from Folkestone in Kent, had Thug Life inked on his stomach and “F*** the world” on his back, above a massive cross in a drunken mistake three years ago

But the former soldier told Channel 5’s Tattoo Disasters UK, that he wants to get rid of the “disgraceful” body art before his two young children, Amelia and Elliot, understand the words.

He said: “Looking back now I think ‘Why did I do that? '”

“People now think I am some sort of thug but I am not like that at all.

“As a dad, the swear word on my back is just disgraceful. My kids ask "what is that drawing on you?" but luckily they don't understand the meaning of the words yet.”

Liam’s mum broke down in tears as she revealed how the tattoos left her devastated.

She said: “He is not the person portrayed on his back, he is a nice lad, it broke my heart when he had it done and I can't wait for it to be covered up.”

She also said that the tummy tattoo did make her laugh because the bullet which replaced the ‘I’ looks like a tampon.

She added: “Who the hell would have a tampon on their tummy?

“I can see the funny side of that but the one on the back, no, that's awful, people look at him in disgust.”

The 28-year-old, who served in the Royal Artillery, said that other people have commented on the “tampon”.

He  told the Channel 5 show: “Taking my top off is really rare.

“I want to refresh and start my life again. Lots of people have told me the bullet looks like a tampon.”

“It is going to change my life,” he said. “Hopefully my children will look at it one day and be proud that I have lovely body art instead of really bad body art.”
