A BRAVE young woman is filmed pulling out a knife in an attempt to fight off an alleged would-be rapist in chilling CCTV taken in Russia.
The assault was reportedly caught on camera in the lobby at an unnamed block of flats in the Bibirevo district near the Russian capital city of Moscow.

Footage of the attack appears to show the woman, named only as Anna in local media reports, followed by an unidentified young man as she enters the building.
The bearded youth grabs at her immediately but she pushes him away.
Cornering his victim, the thug stands and smirks at her while smoking a cigarette.
He then keeps on trying to grab her, even slapping her face at one point, but she pushes him back each time.
When he looks away to put out his cigarette, she takes the opportunity to slip a knife out of her backpack.
But even then the attacker continues to grab Anna’s wrist and wrestle with her.

The pair tussle and the struggle takes them out of the lobby, off camera, but Russian media report that the man fled after that.
There is no information on whether the victim contacted police or not.
