Goals from Harry Maguire and Dele Alli saw Gareth Southgate’s men cruise to a dominant 2-0 win over Sweden in the quarters.

And like every England fan in the country, defender Walker also reckons “it’s coming home”.

Posted a picture of himself with his fingers on the side of his head, Walker tweeted: “When you can’t get ‘it’s coming home’ theme tune out your head.”

He then uploaded a photo of goalscorer Maguire talking to his girlfriend with the jokey caption: “Year so a good header doesn’t hurt. I mean the moment you head it proper, you feel it’s a good one. Know what I mean love?”
